Walks are best in the early morning and after dark through the warmer months, with shade and water always available. Ground-floor flats around Shibpur and Salkia stay warm overnight, so a fan in the puppy's sleeping area is worth having.

- Traffic across the bridges is unpredictable between 9am and 11am. We schedule Howrah deliveries either early morning or after 4pm so the puppy is not sitting in a car in the heat.
