Short answer
Every puppy we sell has completed the age-appropriate part of the DHPPi course — first dose at six to eight weeks, boosters at ten to twelve and fourteen to sixteen weeks — plus anti-rabies from twelve weeks and deworming from two weeks. Each dose is recorded on a card with the date and the vaccine batch number, which your own vet and the municipal licence office will both ask for.
Why we publish the schedule
“Vaccinated” is the easiest word in this trade to say and the hardest to check. It means nothing on its own — a puppy given one dose at six weeks is technically vaccinated and is still wide open to parvovirus.
So rather than claim it, here is the actual protocol, dose by dose, with what is complete when a puppy leaves us and what your own vet picks up afterwards.
The card is the point
Every dose is written down with the date and the vaccine’s batch number. That card travels with the puppy and it is worth more than any assurance we could give you verbally, because it is checkable — by your vet, and by the municipal office when you register the dog.
If you are buying from anyone else, ask to see theirs before you pay. The absence of one, or a card with ticks but no batch numbers, tells you what you need to know.
Parvovirus, specifically
It is the reason the schedule is worth following properly in this city. It survives in the environment for months, it is common, and in an unvaccinated puppy it is frequently fatal. Keeping a young dog off public ground until the course is finished is not over-caution — it is the whole point of the course.
Checklist
- Check the card records a date and a batch number for every dose, not just a tick.
- Note which booster is due next and roughly when — it is usually within a fortnight of collection.
- Keep the puppy away from unvaccinated dogs and public parks until the course is complete.
- Take the card to your first vet visit so the history transfers cleanly.
- Keep it afterwards — the municipal licence renewal asks for the anti-rabies date each year.

Wait until the primary DHPPi course is complete, usually around sixteen weeks, before public parks or contact with unknown dogs. Parvovirus is common in India and a partly vaccinated puppy is genuinely at risk.
What if the puppy falls ill after vaccination?
