Buying by budget rather than by breed

Most people who call us start with a number, not a breed. That is a sensible way round — the gap between a ₹8,000 Pomeranian and a ₹45,000 Golden Retriever is not just the purchase price, it is fifteen years of food, grooming and vet bills at a different scale.

What does not change with the price

The vaccination protocol is the same for a ₹6,000 Spitz and an ₹85,000 Bulldog. So is the eight-week minimum, the hand-carried delivery, and the answer you get when you ring at nine on a Sunday evening because the puppy has not eaten since morning.

How it works, step by step

  1. Tell us about your home Flat or house, who lives there, how much walking is realistic on a working day. This is what should decide the breed — not the photograph you liked.
  2. Meet the puppy and its mother Come to the kennel in Birati, or ask for a live video call. Seeing the mother tells you more about temperament and condition than any description will.
  3. Confirm the price and what is included The figure is fixed before you pay and does not change afterwards. Vaccination and deworming are included; KCI registration follows after purchase where the litter qualifies.
  4. We hand-carry the puppy to you A handler travels with the dog the whole way, however far. We do not use unaccompanied cargo services for live animals.

Questions people ask

Can I see the puppies before buying?

Yes, and we would rather you did. The kennel is in Birati, north Kolkata, about fifteen minutes from Dum Dum. If you cannot travel, we will do a live video call so you can see the puppy with its mother.

How old are the puppies when you sell them?

Eight weeks at the earliest, never younger. Separating a puppy from its litter before that causes behavioural problems that show up months later and are hard to undo.

Which puppy is best for a Kolkata flat?

Pugs, Beagles, Shih Tzus, Pomeranians and Indian Spitz all live comfortably in a flat with two proper walks a day. Every breed page states plainly whether that breed suits an apartment.

Do you deliver puppies outside Kolkata?

Yes, across West Bengal and to selected cities in eastern India, with a handler travelling alongside the puppy. Times and costs for all 23 cities are published on our delivery areas page.
